Abstract:
Approximately 3,500 alternative "underground" newspapers published chiefly in the United States, ca. 1967-1989, most originally compiled by Liberation News Service as record copies from its subscribers. Also included is a much smaller collection of glossy magazines for gay men, ca. 1967-1992.
