Recordsof the administrative and operational aspects of theGreenfield Girls Club, including brief histories, meetingminutes, reports from the club's Board of Directors, andmembership lists. Correspondence is here, as are generalcalendars and policies. Financial materials, includinggeneral records in the form of ledgers and cash books, aswell as bills and receipts from specific vendors, areincluded. Finally, there are materials chronicling theday-to-day life of the club, including applications,registration books, attendance records, newsletters,calendars, announcements & information regardingvarious activities, news clippings, and memorabilia.

Photographsand slides of the club. There are hundreds of picturesand slides, ranging from shots of summer camp andChristmas celebrations to photos of performances,classes, and individual activities. The vast majority ofthese are unidentified, though about half of them can bedated and fall between 1931-1991. There are also severalunidentified film reels and a videotape from 1982 of atelevision appearance by Greenfield Girls Clubofficials.

Groups and programsassociated with the Greenfield Girls Club. The club hasbeen involved in running a nursery school, a day careprogram, and a summer camp (Camp Lion Knoll). Records ofthese programs include correspondence with parents,applications, attendance records and financial materials.Proposals for extension and outreach programs inneighboring towns are here. Working Tools for the 80swas an employment placement service run by G.G.C., andthe collection contains materials regarding itsestablishment and development in the late 1970s as wellas various associated workshop, publicity, and managementmaterials. Materials pertaining to related organizationssuch as United Way, other girls clubs and GreenfieldCommunity College are included. Finally, material fromthe Girls Clubs of America includes records of variousannual national meetings of the G.C.A., correspondence,publications, reports, and regional materials.
