Father Walter Pelczynski, a native of Adams, Massachusetts, who was the second American-born person to be ordained by the Congregation of Marians, which has its roots in Poland. Father Pelczynski served as head of the Marians at Eden Hill in Stockbridge, Massachusetts for many years.
