Abstract:
Playwright, poet, dean, and historian who taught as a professor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst when it was known as Massachusetts Agricultural College. Includes material related to writings: notes, typescript and mimeographed drafts, correspondence, publishers' prospecti, publicity, photographs, book reviews, programs and playbills, printed versions; also other correspondence; handwritten, typescript, and printed versions of speeches and lectures, clippings; scrapbooks; awards and honors; gradebooks; newsletters; and material relating to the dedication of Rand Theater.
