Abstract:
YWCA Overseas Secretary. Papers consist primarily of letters to family from her time working as YWCA overseas secretary in Turkey. The letters detail Pim's work; Turkish social customs; trips in Turkey, Greece, and Western Europe; and her views on current political situations in the United States and the Middle East, including the 1963 attempted coup d'etat in Turkey. Includes photographs.
