Biographical Note
Eva Hansl (1889-1978) was an author, journalist, and writer. Graduated from Barnard College, 1909. Worked as program supervisor for WJZ and broadcast a series on contributions of women to American life. Involved with the World Center for Women's Archives, which collaborated on the series. Lecturer at Columbia University School of Journalism. Staff on New York Tribune and the New York Times. Editor of "Women's Page," New York Evening Sun, 1912-16. Associate editor, Parent's Magazine, 1925-26. Married Raleigh Hansl, 1916; 2 children. |
