Scope and Contents of the Collection
Papers contain primarily family correspondence and diaries. Correspondence includes letters to and from her mother, Hattie, and her husband, Clarence, and correspondence and memorabilia from her sons and memorabilia while at Amherst College and Harvard, circa 1930s. Travel diaries (19) of family members, mostly Green, describe trips around the world, through Europe, the U.S., Mexico, Australia, and New Zealand, circa 1920s- 70s. Also included are almanac, notes, and financial records from Faraway Farm, 1941-50s. Memorabilia includes the "Literary Weekly," edited by Green, 1902.
