The Dorothy Nepper Marshall Papers were initially donated to the Sophia Smith Collection by J. Nathanial Marshall on April 22, 1986, following the death of his wife in February. The papers were later transferred to the Smith College Archives because the materials better fit the collection policy of the department at that time. Processing Information
