The Ad Hoc Committee on the Skinner Museum was formed to discuss possible uses for the Skinner Museum collections in Mount Holyoke courses. In 1977, Mount Holyoke received a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities to hire three consultants to prepare reports on productive uses of the Museum. A three year long plan was developed by the Committee to incorporate use of the Museum into college curriculum.
