The Trustee Development Committee was established in 1958 to help oversee Mount Holyoke College's institutional and economic goals. Members of the Committee include trustees, faculty members, and College administrators.
Records of the Trustee Development Committee consist of minutes and agenda, correspondence, development plans and programs, Committee and College mission statements, financial reports, gift and pledge reports, capital campaign materials, proposals for the use of grants and fellowships, lists, and memoranda. The records address issues such as fund-raising efforts, sabbatical leave policies, alumnae giving, senior class gifts, capital campaign strategies, cash and pledge donations, reunion gift committees, and public relations efforts on behalf of Mount Holyoke College.
