The Nominating Committee was established in 1925 with the responsibility of nominating new members to serve on Mount Holyoke's Board of Trustees and nominating individuals to receive honorary degrees from the College. In 1982, the name of this committee was changed to the Committee on Trustees.
Nominating Committee records date from 1961-1982. These documents consist of correspondence, lists, memoranda, curriculum vitae, articles, and publications concerning potential members of the Mount Holyoke Board of Trustees and individuals considered as recipients of honorary degrees from the College.
