Most letters are dated after 1934, when Cameron left her position(s) at the respective institutions. Letters detail the personal experiences of the correspondents and news of events at Flora Stone Mather College and Milwaukee Downer College. Frequent correspondents include Ruth Damkoehler, a friend and college from Milwaukee Downer College; Phyllis Allen, a former student of Cameron's at Flora Stone Mather College and Louise Willcock. Professional letters roughly range from 1928-1948 and include information about official college business and details about Cameron's hiring and work at Reed College, Flora Stone Mather College and Milwaukee Downer College.
