James Alexander Hankey, Justice of the Peace in Balcombe, Sussex, England in 1867; ran for Parliament from Boston, England in 1852; died in 1882.

Thanks Lower for the loan of his lectures on the Bayeux tapestry and subscription to Lower's "Patronimica Britannica".
