Julia Brooks of Buckland, Massachusetts graduated from Ipswich Female Seminary in 1830. She married the Reverend Ephraim Spaulding and went with him as a missionary to Lahaina in the Sandwich Islands (now Hawaii) in 1832. In 1897 she was living in Evanston, Illinois.
