The Ruth Estelle Mills Zencey Papers contain correspondence, 1941-1951; memorabilia; and photographs. The correspondence consists of letters written to and from Earl Mills, Ruth's younger brother. He was in the army and stationed in a variety of locations throughout World War II. The letters describe the war overseas, and also life on the homefront. The memorabilia includes a World War II ration book, a post card, a drawing, a few programs from concerts, an Air Raid Warning Poster and a few newspaper clippings. The photographs are of Earl Mills. |
