Collection number: MG3 Abstract:
Karen Digia, an activist and gallery owner, collected the bulk of the materials in this collection during the 1960s and 1970s. In November 1991, she donated them to Hampshire College. The collection consists of posters, photographs, calendars, buttons, banners, and related monographic and periodical material representing anti-war and other protest movements of that time. Of particular note are the many posters in the collection by Sister Corita (Sister Mary Corita Kent), as well as a book about her housed in Box 6. The collection is arranged by type of material.
