Farlow, Charles Frost, Asa Gray, William Nylander, Henry Ravenel, and Charles J. Sprague. Lichenological manuscripts include botanical journals kept by Tuckerman on various expeditions in New England, the Bering Strait, and on the Missouri and Yellowstone exploring expedition.
