Scope and Contents

Manuscript volumes and fragments in Arabic from the 9th to 19th centuries. Descriptions are drawn from information provided by the donor.

These manuscripts were previously housed in the Miscellaneous Manuscripts Collection and were extracted to form an independent collection in 2015. The order assigned in the previous collection has been maintained.

History of the Collection

The collection was donated by Anne G. Cann in 1993 in memory of Florence E. Day. Florence Day was the college roommate of Anne Cann's mother.
