The Marshall Bloom Alternative Press Collection consists of approximately 3,500 issues of alternative "underground" newspapers published chiefly in the United States, ca. 1967-1989, most originally compiled by Liberation News Service as record copies from its subscribers. Also included is a much smaller collection of glossy magazines for gay men, ca. 1967-1992. Holdings for most titles are incomplete.
