Approximately 222 bookplates and bookplate designs, ca. 1828-1989, used in the Amherst College library. Also includes information about the history of some of the bookplates; a variety of printing blocks, engravings and other print masters; and a small amount of correspondence.

Scope and Contents of the Collection

Approximately 222 bookplates and bookplate designs, ca. 1828-1989, used in the Amherst College library. The collection also includes information about the history of some of the bookplates; a variety of printing blocks, engravings and other print masters; and a small amount of correspondence.
